Alfred Levern Lindsey Sr., AKA: (Vern), was born in Bradenton, Florida on May 11, 1961 to Lewis Lindsey (Deceased) and Ethel Lindsey.
Alfred was educated in the Manatee County School System, graduating in 1979 from Southeast High School, Bradenton, Florida. Alfred later attended Manatee Technical Institute, Bradenton, Florida, earning a Certificate of Completion in Auto Mechanic. Alfred was employed with Milum, Inc as a Truck Driver and worked closely with the Manasota Post Office.
Alfred married his High School Sweetheart and First Love, Kawanda Edwards, on August 15, 1982, and from this union they had a son, Alfred Levern Lindsey Jr., AKA: (AJ).
Alfred was a very loving, caring, and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Alfred was a very humble, quiet, compassionate, kind, no nonsense, and witty person who uttered a few words, yet still getting his point across, while going above and beyond to help any and everybody.
Alfred was a “Jack of All Trades”, AKA: MacGyver. For example, Alfred was an entrepreneur, self -taught Truck Driver, auto mechanic, fisherman; teacher of everything, leader, counselor, comedian, and the list goes on.... Alfred will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Alfred leaves to cherish precious memories of his life to, Wife: Kawanda Lashelle Lindsey, Son: Alfred Levern Lindsey Jr., AKA: (AJ); Mother: Ethel Lindsey (Lewis Lindsey – Deceased); Mother-in-Law: Hattie Mae Edwards (Deceased); Brothers: Roderick (Roslyn) Lindsey and Reginald (Joanne) Lindsey; Best Friend/Brother: Steforn Gibson; Sister: Angela Williams; Brothers-in-Law: Tony Martin and Hezekiah “Guy” Mills; Sisters-in-Law: Tina (Harry) Bryant, Vickie

Martin and Phadra Edwards. Aunts: Ann Bacon, Etta Samuel, Jannie White, Doris Simmons, Emma Ackerman, Betty Farmer (Willie), Bertha Carr; Francine Rhodes and Dola Miller. Uncles: Wade (Tina) Lindsey and Willie Edwards Jr., and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family, and Friends
