Brother Andy Blue “John L” was born on March 12, 1945s, in Rich Mississippi to the late Otis Blue and late Laura Bell Blue.
Brother Andy Blue was raised in Palmetto, Florida. He attended Palmetto High School in Palmetto, FL.
Brother Blue joined the Genuine Hope Ministries of Palmetto, FL on Jan 7, 2019, He was baptized on Feb 24, 2019, and continued to be a devoted member.
Brother Blue was a sharecropper, he enjoyed landscaping in his yard, and blessed many people with his auto mechanic skills in the community.
Brother Blue’s favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs.
Brother Blue was proceeded in death by his parents Laura Bell-Blue and Otis Blue, 3 Brothers: Emmanuel Blue, Jimmy Lee Blue and Roosevelt Blue, 2 Sisters: Louise Blue, Laura Ann Holloman and son Stacy Blue.
Brother Blue leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Eva Mae Blue of 31 years;8 children:4 boys: Kent Blue (Tiona), James Cooper (Mellete), Jamar Pompey (Charise) and Telly Mobley. 4 girls: Torina Prince (Calvin), Patricia Cooper, Nellie Cooper, and Tara Battiste (Terry); Brothers Otis Blue (Gladys), Willie Blue (Shirely-decease), Sisters Dorthy Flowers, Pearlie Mae Allen, Johnnie Lou Magwood (Donald deceased), Mary Gee Brothers and a host of grand and great grands.
Favorite nephews: Quincy Watkins, Tony Hollman and Alonso “Boone” Houston
He held a special bond with his granddaughter Fajr Battiste.

Brother Blue was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Brother, and Friend.
Left to cherished memories: A host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed.
