Carla was born December 18, 1979 in Bradenton, FL to Van and Donna Dunbar Sr. in Manatee Memorial Hospital. She lived in Palmetto, FL and graduated from Manatee High School. She accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at an early age. She was a member of St. James AME Church where she sang in the adult choir and directed the youth choir until her health began to fail. She worked at Blake Medical Center for 7 years as CNA and Unit Secretary. Carla’s heart was devoted to the Lord and her family, which she always put first.
