Obituary

Charles was born to Cleophis Ramey and Annie Mae Leaks on April 8, 1950 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas.
Charles attended Cotton Plant Elementary and High Schools. After graduation, he worked in the cotton fields of Arkansas before moving to Manatee County in 1971. He met his wife, Sherry Ann in 1973, they were married in 1976, two children were born to that union. They were married 46 years before her passing. He was a member of the 11th Street Church of Christ.
He was employed by Tropicana and Southern Agriculture as a truck driver, also worked at Circle K and retired from the City of Palmetto.
He loved spending time with his family and travelling to see his sisters and brothers.
He waws preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Sherry Ann Leaks; Brothers, Darren Remey, Kenneth Ramey, Curtis Leaks; Sisters, Vera Hamilton, Vertrecia Ramey.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories, Son, Charles Leaks, Jr.; Daughter, Charlene Leaks; Granddaughter, Zariyah George; Brothers, Lamar Clay, Alvester Leaks, Sylvester Clay, Perry Clay; Sisters, Verela Clay, Mary Chambers, Jackie Ramey, Angelle Ramey; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
