Charles “Chill” Dion Edwards Sr

Charles “Chill” Dion Edwards, Sr. was born on January 21, 1965 to Robert, Sr. and Georgia Edwards in Sparta, Georgia. He passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
He spent his entire life in Manatee County. Charles loved his family more than anything. Whenever he was around, you could always expect a good laugh. He was known as, “Chill” and “Dusty Foot”. Charles attended Manatee County School. He went to Southeast High School. He did odd jobs.
Charles was a member of St. Stephens A.M.E. Church in Bradenton, FL, where Rev. Edward J. Barthell is the Pastor. He was also called, “The Breakfast Man” .
He was preceded in death by his Dad, Robert Zyrone Edwards, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his many loving memories, mother, Georgia Edwards; son, Charles Dion Edwards, Jr.; grandchildren, Chariya, Christian and Caden Edwards; brother, Robert Zyrone Edwards, Jr. (Karen); sisters, Patricia Edwards, Christie Edwards (Elliot); Aunts, Helen Watkins, Lily Womack, Mary Jones, his companion, Joann Robinson; He had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins he loved so dearly. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
