Clifford Shannon Jr. Obituary

Clifford Eugene Shannon jr. “aka- BEAR”, was born on October 6,1961, to the late Clifford Shannon sr., and Polly Shannon.  Clifford was a devoted Christian who loved the lord ( and he taught his children and grandchildren to do the same).  He was a seasoned farmer( like his dad), and an avid fisherman ( all of his grand children could fish), and Yes!, he was a momma’s boy, ( the sun rose and set with her in his eyes), just as it did with the love of his life Barbara.   Clifford attended Manatee high school, and later attended college.  He was a jack of all trades( there wasn’t too many things he could not do).  One of Clifford’s favorite pass times, was playing “spades”, with his Aunt, Uncles and cousins.  He was a loyal and diehard Dallas Cowboy Fan. “He Loved Family”,  and for him, family was not just blood!.    44yrs ago Clifford met and fell in love with Barbara, out of that union 7- children were born.     He leaves to carry on his legacy, his Mother -Polly, Brother- Chauncey, Sister- Tan (Terrence), Wife- Barbara, Children- Amber, Clifford III, Diona ( Eddie), Carl Sr., Porshe, and Devin. Son Quinton preceded him in death. Grandchildren- Dajor Sr., Raegan, Lenoris, Aliyah, Jayden, Christina, Giana, Carl Jr., Neveah, Devin Jr., David, Eddie Jr., Lyric, Siannah, Jessiah, Lil Quinton, and Dallas. Great grandchildren- Oneseti, Promise and Dajor Jr.   Sister In Law’s- Kathy and Deborah ( Ray), and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends
