Clinton Overton III

ClInton Overton III, lovingly known as CJ, was born on February 16, 2004, to Clinton and Twanda Overton Jr in Rochester, NY. CJ is the youngest of 5 children, Ceirra, Brandon, Donte, and Deshay (Shannon). CJ was the loving and if you ask him the FAVORITE uncle of Layla, Remy, Kashdon, Kadon, and A’keem.
CJ accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 6 under the pastorage of Pastor Jonathon Chambers at St. Luke Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. CJ was a loving son, a protective brother, a loyal friend, dedicated athlete, and an overall remarkable person. CJ graduated from Nature Coast Technical High School in 2022. CJ loved cars and mechanics in hopes of starting a future career in the automotive industry.
On Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, CJ passed peacefully in an unexpected car accident. He will always be remembered for his carefree attitude, loving nature, dedication to his family, and his willingness to lend a helping hand.
CJ leaves to cherish his memories not only his immediate family and godparents Alberta Thomas (Rochester, NY) and Ricky (Debra) Overton (Zachary, LA) but his siblings and extended family, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers, teammates, and co-workers.
