Cornelius O. Floyd, Sr. was born in Brewton, Alabama on August 16, 1963 to Mary F. Floyd and James E. Floyd, Sr. Cornelius was called home on Monday, June 14, 2021. Cornelius attended W.S. Neal High School in Brewton, AL. In the late 80’s, he moved to Bradenton, FL. He worked as a boat assembler, later he worked as a welder until he had to stop working due to an accident. Neil was predeceased by his Parents, Mary and James Floyd, Sr.; Wife, Cynthia V. Hird -Floyd; Son, Cornelius O. Floyd, Jr.; Brother, Mack Floyd; Sister, Mary “Barra” Orum; Mother -in -law, Mary Brothers and Brother -in -law: Rodney Forward. Cornelius leaves to cherish his memories: One daughter: Redina Hugan; One son, Michael (Britinay) Burke; Seven Grandchildren: Alex Owens, Jr., Daquarius Bradley, Sr., Nazherae Brown, Landon, Maria, Mila, and Miles; Five Great Grandchildren: Tyreke, Camora, Denim, Daquarius, Jr, and Milan; One Brother, James (Shelly) Floyd, Four Sisters -in -law: Rachel (Warren) Mingelton, Sharon Lane, Pamela Watkins, Beverly Bell; Five Brothers -in -law: William Hird, Gregory Hird, Michael Lane, Morse Bell, and Michael Orum; Seven God Children: Lucrectia Reed, Theodis Riley, Jr., Ken Matthews, Corbett, Terrance, Vonte and Cecil; Three Special Nephews: Anthony Floyd, Ahmad “Modd” Hird, and William Hird, Jr. Best Friend/Brother: Theodis Riley, Sr.; Special Cousins: Shannon Cowell and Charles Floyd, Shelton G.
