Cynthia Daniels Obituary

Our sister Cynthia was born on April 12, 1961.  She is the tenth child born to her loving mother, Essie B. Daniels.

Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Carter Temple C.M.E. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Cornelius Bryant and served faithfully as a Choir Member. She also was the Recording Steward for many years.

Cynthia attended Ballard Elementary School from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade; Bayshore Middle School for 7th and 8th grade, Bayshore High School 9ththrough 12th grade.  She graduated from Bayshore High School, Class of 1979 in Bradenton, Florida.

Her place of employment was Bausch & Lomb for many years.  While employed there, she was awarded a Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation for her service.

Cynthia was always available to her family members throughout her life.             “Auntie Cynt,” as she was affectionally called by her nephews and nieces, would give of herself unselfishly to anyone in need.  Her giving included helping to care for her mom, aunt, and uncle. Cynthia was very close to her nephews and nieces and she loved them dearly. She helped care for them, all twenty-nine of them, as they would live and/or spend time at “Grandma Essie’s and aunt Menia’s” home.

Friends of her nieces and nephews called her “auntie Cynt” as well because of her kindness towards them;she would love and treat them all the same. Their love for her ran deep; they all hold a special place in their hearts for her.  That is the kind of daughter, sister, niece, auntie, sister-in-law, and friend she was!  She gave her all until our Lord and Savior called her to her heavenly home.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother Essie B. Daniels; a special aunt, Armenia Barkley, aunts Mattie Pearl Dawson, and Retha Hayes; brothers Franklin D. Daniels, Sr., Freddie Lee Daniels, and Elijah Daniels, Sr.; uncles George Barber, Frank Barber, Elbert Barber, and Leron Hoover; niece, Sonya M. Daniels; nephew, Tony Daniels, and sister-in-law Frances Daniels.

I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
