Elizabeth Ann Pompey was born July 11, 1952 in Daytona Beach, FL to the late Horace and Ethel Lee Thompson. She resided in Bradenton, FL at the time of her demise on February 28, 2021.
Sister Pompey accepted Jesus Christ as her personal saviour at an early age, later joining Triumph the Church and Kingdom in God in Christ. She loved to sing and one of her favorite songs was “Jesus is real to me.” She worked a number of years at Manatee Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper. She was a cheer mom for the Palmetto Eagles and enjoyed making the famous “Mr. Piggy’s” barbeque sauce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Pompey,and two sons: Tyler and Travis Pompey.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two daughters, Tukeycha Pompey-Carnes (Darren), Tarrance Pompey-Jackson (Rashad); grandson: Micah Pompey; granddaughters: KemaraJenkins, Mikayla Jackson, Tiana Jackson, Aleah Jackson; two great-grandchildren; siblings: James Thompson, AltameseBryant, Pam Norman (Charles); one brother-in-law: AlvernisPompey (Delilah); Godchild: Willie Felton Jr.; host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
