Essie Baxter

Mrs. Essie Mae Baxter was born December 19, 1941 in Branchville, South Carolina to James and Vernell Henderson. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
She attended the public schools of Dorchester County. Mrs. Essie was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. James A. Baxter on February 23, 1963. From this union, they were blessed with six children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vernell Henderson; three children: Derrick L. Baxter, J. Allen Henderson and Clarence A. Henderson; Grandson, Terence.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: Three daughters, Betty (Willie) Simmons, Beverly Baxter, Cynthia (Jermaine) Baxter all of Palmetto, Florida; One daughter-in-law, Veronica Henderson, Rex, Georgia; Two sisters, Elizabeth (Harry) Bowman of Branchville, South Carolina and Bernice (Nehemiah) Schuler of Bowman, South Carolina; Eleven Grandchildren; Twenty-four Grandchildren; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, in-laws; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
