Eurilene Benton Obituary

Eurilene Paramore Benton was born in Dothan, Alabama on May 3, 1941 to the late S. Clifton Paramore and Everlene Paramore. She was reared with strong Christian values by her grandmother Mattie Cody Hamlin. While living with her grandmother, she formed a strong bond with her aunts, Jennie Lee Hamlin Pujoue and Melvin Jean Tyson.
Eurilene was educated in the Houston County School System and graduated from Carver High School. She met Leroy Benton in Dothan and moved to Bradenton, Florida. They married shortly afterwards. In 1959 their first son, Darien was born, Kent came along in 1960. She was a devoted and caring wife and mother.
Eurilene worked in a domestic roll at a beach resort and as a school bus monitor for the Manatee County School System. She was a loyal member of Greater Mount Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church, where she faithfully served until her illness and subsequent death. She was willing to render service whenever possible.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Darien L. Benton, Bradenton, FL; Kent L. (Edith) Benton, Bradenton, FL; one sis- ter, Merita Whitfield-Paramore, Bradenton, FL; two grandsons, Marcus Benton, North Port, FL; Markeye Benton, Bradenton, FL; three great grandsons, Logan, Myles, and Mason, North Port, FL; two sisters-in-law, Albertin Benton, Bradenton, FL; and Louella Benton, Tampa, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
