Frances Reed

Frances was born in Thomaston, Georgia on January 15, 1935. She moved to Parrish, Florida 63 years ago.
Frances was converted at an early age, she joined New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Parrish, Florida under the leadership of Rev. E. D. Huffman.
Frances worked as a laborer when she was a young lady, later she worked for Manatee Memorial Hospital in Food Services for several years, she worked the food summer food program for Manatee County. After retiring, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels Plus.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Savannah Reed; all of her siblings; her eldest daughter, Joanne Reed and a grand-daughter, Special Johnson.
Frances is survived by four children, Jeanette (Dixion) Crawford, Kansas City, Tammy (Reed) Roberts, Bradenton, FL; Sons, Ricky Reed, Palmetto, FL and Vincent Reed, Bradenton, FL; Special niece; Mary (Brown) Randall of Parrish, FL, Special Nephew Curtis (Butts) Ward, Bradenton, FL; God daughters, Verma (Shagg) Griffin, and Mae Frances Truvell (Suga Mama) both of Bradenton, FL; and a friend/ Sister (Mama) Daisy Mae Cooper of Parrish, Florida.
