Freddrick Mitchell of Bradenton departed this life on April 7, 2021. Freddrick Maurice Mitchell, Sr. was born to James Navard Mitchell and Mellow Mitchell in Braden- ton, Florida.
Freddie was educated in Manatee County Schools and graduated from Southeast High school in the Class of 1974. In high school, Freddie excelled in many different sports. After high school, he served in the United States Army for twenty-two years. After returning from the military, he met and married Lorene Engram of Bradenton on August 4, 2001. They shared a daughter, Janice Nicole Grable. They were married 20 years until he departed this life.
During his youth, he grew up in Ward Temple A.M.E. Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. C. D. Lazier.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Nevard Mitchell preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Lorene Engram-Mitchell; son, Fredderick Maurice Mitchell, Jr. and a daughter, Angel Mechelle Mitchell (Jordyn and Jalen) of Virginia (Mother, Harriet Peyton); daughter, Janice Nicole Grable (Ka’nyla, Kenye, Quin of Bradenton); brother, Vernon Evans (Shelly) of Bradenton; three sisters, Kathy, Andria, Stacey, all of Bradenton, FL; three aunts, Irene Royal of Ruskin, Ella Simmons of St. Augustine, Ruby Jackson of Reddick; three nephews, Bernard Goode, III and Ashley Branic of Bradenton, Willie Vegas, Jr. of Connecticut; three nieces, Adriann Wiggins, Princess Mitchell-Vegas, Jaayd Mitchell-Vegas; Five great nephews, Darius Gooden, Bernard Goodman, III, Ashton Branic, Christian Branic and Joe ‘Reyce Lubin; five great nieces, Shaqueria Branic, Tyana Holte, Raechel Lubin, Symphony Riley and Kamilla Gooden; a host of loving cousins and special friends. Special furry babies, Chance (Dog), Gabriel (Cat).
