Gary Curtis Davis

On July 11, 2023 Gary Curtis Davis answered the Heavenly Father and his son's call.

Gary Curtis Davis was born on January 30, 1953 to the late Hary Lee and Elnora Davis.  He was born and reared in Manatee County.  He attended Manatee County Schools where he graduated from Southeast High School.  He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served two years in the Marines.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and grew up in his church home St. Paul Missionary Baptists Church.  He attended Manatee Community College where he received his Associate's degree.

During his life, Gary Curtis Davis worked at Tropicana in security and later became a sheriff's deputy at the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

He was a school resource officer and coached little league football.  

He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry Lee and Elnora Davis.  Son: Shaun Pattrick Davis.  Sisters: Annie Ruth Davis and Iris Brown; Brothers: Clint Davis and Glen Davis.

Left with his precious memories is his loving and devoted wife Tina Davis.

Sister: Harriet (James) Roberts, Bradenton, FL; Brother: Larry (Joyee) Davis of Columbus, GA.

Children: Davian Davis, Brian Davis, Trashara Davis (granddaughter), and Avaon Davis (grandson) Bradenton FL.
