John Larry Garvin Sr

John Larry Garvin Sr. was born on October 21st, 1956, to the late Mr. Johnnie and Ola Mae Garvin. He was born in Bradenton, Fl. but raised in Palmetto Fl. where he spent much ofhis life. He attended Manatee County Public Schools, and later attended college for a short time, in Tennessee. His career and passion were driving varieties of trucks and spending his free time making memories with family and friends. He peacefully passed away at the age of 66 on April 4, 2023, in Palmetto Florida succumbing to his illness.

He is preceded in death by his father: Johnnie Garvin; devoted mother: Ola Mae Garvin, and siblings: Myrtis Moses, Jennifer Garvin, and Jay Garvin.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife: Donna Garvin. Daughter: Devon Garvin; Sons: John Garvin Jr., Jonathan 'Breon' Edwards, and Zachary Garvin. Grandson: Miles Jay Garvin. Aunt: Fannie Law of Sarasota, Florida. Sisters: Alma Jordan of Tampa, Florida; Johnnye (Charles) Cooper of Bradenton, Florida; Joyce McAuley of Bradenton, Florida; June Cooley of Slidell, Louisiana. Brothers: Melvin Parker of Bradenton, Florida; George (Julia) Parker of Slidell, Louisiana; Freddie Parker of Angola, Louisiana; William (Ethel) Parker of Cocoa, Florida; Jackie Garvin Sr. of Palmetto, Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
