Larry Shannon Jr

Larry R. Shannon, Jr. was born to Larry R. Shannon, Sr. and Christine Woodie Shannon in Bradenton, FL on October 18, 1958.
As a child, Larry attended St. John First Baptist Church where he was baptized. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Florida A & M University for two years. He decided to volunteer in the United States Coast Guard where he served with honors and distinction. While in the Coast Guard, he learned to become and electrician. This trade served him well as he developed the skills needed to become proficient in telecommunica- tions.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Woodie Shannon.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, a son, Nolan Harris and grandson, Julian Harris of Cape May, NJ; Father, Dr. Larry R. Shannon, Sr. (Dr. Velma Charles-Shannon), Apollo Beach, FL; Sisters, Pamela Kay Shannon of Palmetto, FL and Sabrina Shannon-Bryant; Brothers, Herbert Norris Shannon of California, Maryland and Dr. Larry R. Shannon II (Candice) of Flycreek, NY; He also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends to cherish his memories.
