Sister Letha Mae Williams was born April 28, 1943, in Branchville, South Carolina to the late Mrs. Lillie Mae (Edwards) Green and the late Mr. Lon Green.
She was married to the late Mr. Nathaniel Williams Sr.
Sister Williams attended Manatee County Schools and retired from Manatee Memorial Hospital after 37 years of employment. She joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior under the late Rev. C.W. Carey and served faithfully as an usher as well as provided service on the kitchen committee.
Preceding her in death are her sons: Nathaniel Jr. and Lawrence Williams, sisters: Mattie Green and Betty Ann Waiters, nephews: Ivory Settlers and Washington Green, and a niece Fairy Bell Green.
To cherish her loving memories, she leaves one daughter: Matilda Freeman of Palmetto, FL; one stepdaughter: Barbara (Alphonso) of Deerfield Beach, FL; one son, Donald Williams of Palmetto, FL; A granddaughter, Carterra Frazier of Palmetto, FL; Two grandsons, LaJayvar (Portia) and LaJayron (Ashley); five great grandchildren, Taylor McNair, Semaj (JoJo) Singleton of Palmetto, FL; LaJayvar Negrin, Jr., LaJayvon Negrin and Jayron Negrin all of Deerfield Beach, FL; five sisters-in-law, Violet Dixon of Palmetto, FL; Bennie Mae Yon and Dwina (Brian) Teal of Parrish, FL; Alma (Thomas) McDuffie and Retha (Jude) Placide of Bradenton, FL; One brother-in-law, Arthur Griffin of Columbus, GA and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
