Marie Simmons

Marie Simmons departed this life on April 11, 2021.  The late Marie Simmons, the daughter of the late Ninios and Mary Thomas was born January 30, 1920 in Monticello, Florida.
She attended school in Monticello, Florida. She worked as a laborer in Agriculture for many years. She was a faithful member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E. W. Carey and the Rev. Dr. G. I. Bradley, the current pastor.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Simmons (Arlene), New Jersey, Sam Wiggins (Valerie), Bradenton, FL; three 3 daughters, Rosa Lee Porter (Jimmy), Ollie Fuller, Lula Simmons all of Bradenton, FL; A host of Grands, Great Grands, and Great Great Grand children; two Special Great Sons, Dennis Byrd, Clarence Maxwell and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
