Tommie Tyson

Tommie “Tompain” Lamar Tyson was born on January 20, 1962 in Bradenton, Florida. He was born to the late Al Tyson, II and Arthur Mae Tyson. God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to elevate Tommie home on April 22, 2022.
He attended Manatee County schools until 11th grade. He later worked for Woody’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant as a laborer and cook.
He was always smiling and willing to help others and support those around him that he cherished most. He had a big heart and a radiant smile. His greatest accomplishments were loving and cherishing his family and others he loved.
He was preceded in death by his two older brothers, Leroy Cooper and Freddie L. Tyson; Nephew, Zaharius Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted partner of 28 years, Ms. Tina Mathis of Bradenton, FL; 3 sisters, Shirley Mack, Carolyn (Ozell) Baker, Roslyn (Roderick) Lindsey; One brother, Al G. Tyson, III of Bradenton, Florida; Stepdaughter, Margaret Advil, Mary A. Toledo, Nancy Church; Grandchildren, Angel Alaffia, Hector Alaffia, Drake, Jennica, Kali, Kari, Brian, Destiney, Delilah, Nayel, Villina, Neveah; Great Grandchildren, Shopie, Waylen, Ezariah; Nephews, Harold Graham, Jr., Ronald Johnson, Otis Walker, Gregory Fields, Lecorey Fields, all of Bradenton, FL; Arthur Lee, Sr. of Gainesville, FL; Great Nieces, Zatavia Johnson, Kamiyah Fields, Ronesha Johnson, Jasmine Walker, Iyanni Fields, Amari Fields, McKenzie Fields, all of Bradenton, FL; Great nephews, Izaac Fields, Isaiah Fields, Jacob Fields, Arthur Lee, Jr. all of Bradenton, Florida, Jarron Walker, One Aunt, Juanita Johnson of Palmetto, Florida; A host of loving cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Westside funeral home 204 7th St. W., Palmetto, FL 34221.  Celebration  of life service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at New Hope Holiness with Deliverance Ministries 516 30th St E.
