Mrs. Vivian “Pokey” Williams Washington was born September 15, 1970. She resided in Manatee County all of her life.
She was employed at Pactec as a factory worker and at JJ BBQ. She was an outgoing person, and her family was her everything. She was always the life of every event. Pokey always spoke her mind and didn’t back down. She loved cooking and dancing.
She was predeceased by her son, Anthony Washington, Jr.; father, James Robinson; stepfather, Calvin Williams and her Grandparents Johnny and Betty Richardson and Alice Williams.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories: a loving and dedicated husband of 30 years, Anthony Washington Sr.; mother, Vivian Williams; 4 sons: Thomas McDuffie, Travis McDuffie, Anthony Washington, II and Antonio Washington, II; Sister: Betty Williams- Timmons (Derrick); Brothers: Calvin Williams, Eugene Robinson, Darrell Corbet, and Stacy Robinson; two sisters-in-law: Charlene and Bridgette Washington; 12 Grandchildren: TaDiamond, Dataveous, Honesti, Truly, Travone, Zarielle, Za’Mari, Za’Yanni, Travis Jr., Taliyah, Kemora and Antonio Washington III; 2 Great Grandchildren: Malay- sia and Cornelous and 1 Best Friend: Valerie Mays and 2 Special Friends: Trice Poole and Lynn Smith. Pokey also leaves to cherish a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends
